All work and no play..

exclamation!

Having recently took on some full time hours where I work I have found it hard to find the time to write anything here or to proactively recruit to the message board, or even to devote any time to anything else!! However I am pretty pleased that I have recently overcome a long and drawn out affair with Komplett.co.uk. To cut a long story short I purchased a PC from them back in 2006 which, after a year of owning, decided to power down randomly. After several RMAs they lost my pc but it took about 4-5 months to actually get a working PC to me. In the end they admitted mine was lost and built me a new one, with a bit of compensation it seems as it was massively improved (new and better RAM, Hard Drive, PSU etc..), had a Geforce 8800GT inside and came with a free copy of the game Crysis worth £30!!! So i have spent quite a lot of time re-installing all the things I want on here plus a few new games I decided to buy for it and play (Unreal Tournament 3 is pretty good)!

As normal though i’m still into my music. I purchased a new CD recently, an album, by a group that few of you will have heard of (I don’t think they’re together anymore) called “Whipping Boy”. I’m still waiting for that to come although if you’d like to sample the music they do search YouTube for a song called “Twinkle”.

However I am mildly addicted to the band “Garbage” again. Particularly the song “milk” which i’ve added below

Robots in disguise…

CD

Another YouTube video for you I’m afraid. But I thought I would share this with you. It’s a song from an electro punk band called “Robots in disguise”. This is one of the few songs I’ve heard off their new album, but I quite enjoy it and so I thought that I would share it with you all. I must warn you, however, that whilst the video is absolutely crap I’m happy to say that (in my opinion) the music isn’t. Judge for yourself and feel free to comment on it and post your own favourite songs or song videos here.

If you enjoyed that clip then go over to their official website to get the opportunity to listen to a few more of their songs.

It’s not all to do with music today though! I just thought I’d highlight that in the week I came across an excellent website full of brilliant flash based browser games. So if you are online and feeling a bit bored then check out this website. If you aren’t to sure how to play them or if you can’t see anything when you click that link then you need to download and install Adobe Flash Player.

If you come across some good browser games (or even any other freebies or downloadable games) then feel free to share them here.

Hope you all have a good weekend, i’ll be lurking around the forums. 2ney.
